My own flipchart flashcards with HTML, Tailwind CSS and CSS3

After answering those Google questions yesterday, I wanted to save the flashcards. Gemini tells me that as long as the chat exists, the flashcards will be accessible. But that seems too risky to me because I couldn’t delete the chat; there could be some kind of problem with Google’s servers, or I might even get blocked by Google.

Therefore, I set out to have something of my own.

Gemini offered me the option to save the data via Google Sheet, as a CSV file, or as a Markdown file.

The German-language Wikipedia defines Markdown as follows:

Those: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markdown

Markdown is a simplified markup language, which are from John Gruberdesigned and specified in December 2004 with version 1.0.1. Aaron Swartzwas the only one Beta-Tester and significantly helped in the development of the Syntax. One goal of Markdown is to provide an easily readable source format even before conversion. Award elementsTherefore, primarily award types were used that were in Plain text and E-Mailsare common. Other markup languages with similar readability goals – such as reStructuredText or Textile– had an influence on the syntax. The MIME-Type istext/markdown.

That was still too basic for me. So I created my own flashcards using HTML, Tailwind, CSS, and CSS3. I can now link the HTML page to my existing website on my PC and study there whenever I want.
