Die Stadt gehört anders als ich dachte nicht zu Ostfriesland sondern zum Oldenburger Münsterland. Daher ist meine Aussage im hier verlinkten Video nicht gültig, wo ich noch an Ostfriesland dachte. Wie dem auch sei, sie liegt zumindest knapp davor mit ihren 22.000 Einwohnern. Nördlich liegt noch die Gemeinde Saterland. Um die Stadt zu erreichen bin ich aus dem Ruhrgebiet in Essen mit dem RE2 um 5.41 Uhr losgefahren. Leider gibt es derzeit eine Baustelle bei Osnabrück HBF, die wohl aber…

Gestern war ich kurz auf der Margarethenhöhe, ein Stadtteil im Essener Süden. Grund war, dass ich bei meinem ehemaligen Vermieter war, weil ich habe noch ein Sparbuch, wo die Mietkaution drauf ist. Ich möchte meine Sparbücher auflösen und meine Finanzen neu ordnen. Zur Margarethenhöhe kommt man am besten mit der U-Bahnlinie U17, die vom Essener Hauptbahnhof aus fährt. Vom Süden kann man auch mit der Buslinie 169 kommend aus Essen-Bredeney, Essen-Werden bzw. Velbert erreichen. Autofahrer erreichen den Stadtteil über die…
